Our Story

Our story begins as a bet where the most unforgettable recipe was chosen to represent a Memphis in May competitive BBQ team in 1989. Our founder, Steve Dunlap, went to work in the kitchen simmering his favorite southern flavors. Raving reviews inspired Steve to develop the recipe further.

Over the years, bottles of sauce were shared at neighborhood cookouts and family gatherings.

Our humble circle of family and friends has grown countrywide and we are excited to offer this labor of love for all to enjoy in three signature flavors: Original, Mild Chili Blend and Spicy Chipotle Chili.
